Woodlot Tour at Moffat farm and Brant AGM

On November 19th join the Brant Chapter at the Moffat farm for a woodlot tour and AGM.

The Moffat farm is in easy reach for Haldimand, Hamilton, and Brant members. After touring the woodlot we will see how the Moffat’s use their forest products for heat using an enclosed outdoor furnace and for building materials created with their sawmill. Meet at the woodlot at 9:15 for coffee or hot cider and a 9:45 tour. The tour will be followed by an early lunch and a brief AGM.

Directions: 

The woodlot is on the south side of Sawmill Road, just west of Shaver Rd. After the tour we will drive around the corner to 663 Onondaga Townline Rd. to see the sawmill and furnace. The farm entrance is on Onondaga Townline Rd.
