Preharvest Tour of Marked Woodlot and Wetland Restoration

Topics of discussion and woodlot tour will include:

• Overview of harvest selection goals
• Marking
• Market value
• Harvest plan
• Wetland restoration project 

G.W.G. Resources Services and Ducks Unlimited representatives will be onside to support this discussion.

Light lunch provided (we will accommodate both carnivore and herbivore diets  and allergies). This will be a zero-waste event, so please bring your own dishes and silverware. Menu will be provided once all registrations are received. This will be a COVID-safe outdoor event for all ages, rain, snow, or shine, so dress for the weather, bring a lawn chair, walking stick and appetite!

Pre-registration by February 15th is necessary for meal planning. Contact the event organizer to pre-register. Cool swag prizes will be available for a few lucky participants! Please note that there is no charge/fee for this event. All costs are covered by the Chapter.
