A 7-Generation Bioregional Approach to Planning for People and Planet in a Polycrisis

Wednesday, February 1, same session offered twice
10:00 am-12:00 noon OR 1:30-3:30 pm, virtual Zoom session

For: Municipal and Regional Staff – sustainability, community/social services and programs, culture, parks/forestry, youth and seniors, social development, food security, planning and policy

The same virtual session will be repeated twice to meet demand across the GTA municipalities and regions. Social and ecological regeneration go hand-in-hand. The blunt fact is that we're in a polycrisis – converging climate, environmental, economic, political, technological, social, health crises. To navigate the polycrisis, we need a complex dance between mitigation, adaptation, and seeds. This thought-provoking session will change the way you view planning and programs, creating new opportunities to multiply meaning and impact. This is a deep systems approach. The 7-Generation GTB initiative bridges silos – from health and education to climate and economy. The GTA has an opportunity to both lead and learn from regions around the world in the new international network. If you register and are unable to attend, you will have special access to a recording. Click here for more info and registration.
