An Exhibition of Small Woodlot Tools and Electric Equipment

Wondering whether to make the move to electric tools for your woodlot? Already have some tools, but wondering what’s the next best thing? Experienced woodlot owners will be on hand to show you their equipment and answer questions. There will also be a display of non-electric woodlot management tools, including the innovative invasive species remover, The Extractigator®, perfect for pulling buckthorn, prickly ash and other unwanted woody plants.

Equipment on hand will include:

  • Husqvarna chainsaw, pole saw and hedge trimmer
  • Dewalt chainsaws (20V, 60V), pole saw, hedge trimmer, leaf blower
  • Stihl chainsaws (2 sizes)
  • Electric wood splitters, and more!

Come join us for this informal event. Songwood Farm is the property of Tom Graham and Jeanne Lambert. It consists of 88 acres of oldfield-farm-turned Managed Forest, with over 35,000 trees being planted since 1969. Over 4 km of trails run throughout the property. A Managed Forest since 2001, the property received FSC certification in 2006. Today, Songwood is a proud member of the Ontario Woodlot Association.
