Buddha's Light Vegetarian Food Fair and Tree Planting Ceremony

An annual event offering unique and healthy Asian cuisine and an opportunity to learn about Buddhism.

The event is organized by the International Buddhist Progress Society (IBPS) Ottawa and Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) Ottawa, with an aim to raise environmental awareness. Our mission at the IBPS and BLIA is to practice and promote Humanistic Buddhism within our communities, with the ultimate vision of fostering peace and harmony among all people worldwide.

The Fo Guang Shan Temple is a proud member of the Ontario Woodlot Association, and are part of our Lower Ottawa Valley Chapter.
