Lingering ash are the mature ash trees that are still in a healthy condition after Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has killed the majority of the stand. Rachel Kappler, Ph.D. will provide background info on the Great Lakes Basin Forest Health Collaborative and EAB, before delving into the technical details on lingering ash.
The lunch and learn will also provide an update from Nina Hunt (FGCA) on how this method is being adapted for use in Ontario.
