IMPORTANT! EVENT CANCELLATION

I hope this message finds you safe and warm.

I’m writing with difficult news. Due to the severe ice storm and the State of Emergency declared by the City of Kawartha Lakes, we’ve had to make the very tough decision to cancel the Kawartha Woodlot Expo, which had been rescheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025.

The storm has caused extensive power outages, hazardous road conditions, downed trees and hydro lines, and major disruptions to communications throughout the region. With the City’s current focus on emergency response and recovery efforts, it’s no longer safe or feasible to move forward with the event.

We were genuinely excited to bring everyone together for a day of learning, connection, and community. Thank you so much for your interest, support, and enthusiasm—it means a lot to us.

We’ll be in touch with future opportunities and hope to reconnect under better circumstances.
