Birding with ‘Merlin’ at Heartland Forest, Niagara Falls

Come and enjoy a spring walk at Heartland Forest with local bird enthusiasts leading us through various habitats. The use of the Merlin app will help identify birds we see and hear. Apply what you learn so you can easily identify birds back on your own property.

Please download the Merlin app on your phone prior to attending, as this will be used by participants.

What to bring: Binoculars, smartphone with Merlin app

What to wear: suitable footwear and dress according to the weather.

We ask everyone arrive at the entrance to the trail at 8:30 AM. Light refreshments will be provided before we begin our spring walk through meadows and forests.
