I am looking for used tree cones or tubes to protect new planted seedlings from deer browsing. I understand plastic forestry cones can be reused and wonder if anyone has a source or a lead on where to find any? Alternatively, if anyone has advice on an economical (ideally less than $1 per unit) product that will serve the purpose of protecting 1500 seedlings from deer browsing in the first year or two after planting, I'd be grateful to hear it.
